| Custom Maps for Power Commanders |
We do custom mapping for Power commanders using Dynojet's Tuning Link computerized mapping program. This computer program works in conjunction with the Model 250i dynomometer and is the only accurate way to make a map for your Power Commander. We must lease this very specialized computer program yearly from Dynojet. But, because we use Tuning Link, the map we make for your power commander is as perfect as present technology allows. If you bring us your motorcycle with a PC3 or a PCusb already installed, the price for a custom map for your power commander is $200.00. WOW, you say, that's a lot of money! Yes, it is---but it is a reasonable price to have your fuel map virtually perfect from 0 to 100 % throttle.
Every Power Commander that we sell and install, we make a custom map for it on the dyno using the Tuning Link program. It is our experience that your 100% satisfaction comes with a perfect power commander map-not one that is "close". If you purchase the power commander from us, you do not have to pay full price for the custom map, partly because we've made money selling you the PC itself.
NOTE: Our purpose is to optimize the performance of your motorcycle. John is not a mechanic! He is a nationally-recognized Harley tuner, and he is very good. But for him to do his best, he has to start with a mechanically sound engine! It is not always possible for him to "cure" a sick engine; that is not his job. However, if you want him to try, please realize you will have to pay for his time, whether he cures the problem or not.
You must be there when we test your motorcycle, so we can discuss recommendations and charges with you!
