Marc Carey

Marc Carey of Saint John, New Brunswick Canada sent us this pic of his 1992 Fatboy while John the Dyno Guy works his magic on it. It was taken during the 1998 Laconia, New Hampshire rally.

Michael Latham

Michael Latham dropped us a note along with this pic of his FXD:

Here is a Picture of my 98 FXD. John dyno'ed it at Laughlin '99 and took her from 73 HP to 87.1. Phew think I wasn't impressed. Part of that gain was thanks to changing to the White Brothers E Series pipes; they alone were worth 4 hp over my other 2 into 1's.

Donny Huffman

Donnie Huffman sent us these cool pics of him and his drag sportster, and wrote the following to us:

...here is a pic of me and my sportster doing a burnout at the flash race in Sturgis 99. This shot is from the August 1999, 27th Annual "Official Rally Edition" of the Meade County Times-Tribune, Sturgis, SD. Oh yeah, thank you for helping me get my bike tuned for the elevation in sturgis...lot of difference than down in Fl.

Best et: 6.98sec @100mph on the 8th mile track.
I also took the superstock XL class w/ ADBA.

Tom DeWire

Here is a picture of Tom DeWire having his bike dyno'ed by John. Tom wrote the following:

Attached is a picture of my 93 FX-STC on the Rolling Thunder Dyno. I'd done as much tuning and mechanical work as my knowledge would allow. The dyno showed the timing and exhaust (Python II with AR cones and baffle deflectors punched out) were right on the money, but the S&S E was off. John held a quick clinic on correct tuning of the S&S E, and everyone learned how to tune it right. Runs like a top, still loud as hell, and the mileage even improved. And I said I'd never dyno the bike. Live and learn --- Thanks John and Sandy.

Ron Brown

Ron Brown sent in this pic of himself and his bike at Sturgis. Ron had this to say:
While in Sturgis the guys and myself spent the afternoon with John and Sandy, and had a great time and also learned alot! Look forward to the off season to do some work to my bike! By the way I also rode John's bike while he was testing the other guy's bikes, and it was great (thanks). Afterwards we went out north of Sturgis at dusk and raced for about an hour! Wow what a difference! So I just wanted to say thanks and can't wait 'till we catch up with John again to see what magic he can do!

Bob Nolan

Here are a few photos of Bob Nolan and his 1990 Softail Custom. This bike was just rebuilt over the winter with an S&S stroker kit and a couple of other nice things. As is it posted 87.5 h.p. and 97.1 ft.-lb. of torque during the New Jersey State H.O.G. convention in Wildwood, N.J. John Golden stated that the performance could be a little better with a White Brothers "E" Series pipe setup. It has been ordered and Bob is awaiting delivery of it.
